Terms of Use

Last updated: September 20, 2026

These Terms apply to LACASIO DIGITAL services, digital products and related communications. A paid project is also governed by its written order-specific scope. Mandatory applicable law controls where it cannot be varied.

1. Scope

LACASIO provides website and online-business launch services, digital setup, educational resources and related support. Each project is limited to the written scope confirmed for that project. Out-of-scope requests require review and may require a written Change Request, add-on, revised quote or separate agreement.

2. Founding Quick Launch price

Founding Client Price: C$1,349.99 CAD, available to the first 3 eligible accepted Quick Launch Core customers. Applying is free and does not create a charge, guarantee acceptance or reserve a spot. Prices are shown in CAD. Applicable GST/HST, if LACASIO is required or elects to collect it, and third-party charges are separate unless expressly included in writing. LACASIO does not add GST/HST merely because an internal revenue-monitoring level is reached; collection begins only when required or applicable under LACASIO’s GST/HST registration status and Canadian tax rules.

3. Acceptance, payment and BUILD READY

LACASIO may review fit, scope, readiness and capacity before acceptance. Quick Launch requires full payment unless otherwise agreed in writing, but payment alone does not start production. Production begins only after required information, content, approvals and access are received, finalization is completed, scope is locked, the project is marked BUILD READY, and LACASIO actually begins substantive production work. LACASIO records the Production Started date/time in the project record. BUILD READY by itself is not Production Started.

4. Scope Lock, revisions and Change Requests

Quick Launch Core includes 2 structured revision rounds unless a different written scope is confirmed. Revisions are reasonable corrections or adjustments within the agreed scope. New functionality, pages, direction or other out-of-scope work is a Change Request and may require additional price and time. Corrections of LACASIO-caused defects do not consume a revision round.

5. Quick Launch Core

Unless otherwise confirmed in writing, Quick Launch Core is a focused informational website service of up to 5 agreed core pages, responsive/mobile optimization, one contact or lead form, basic branding/content polish, foundational launch-level SEO and technical configuration, final QA, launch/handoff and the included revision rounds. Ecommerce, advanced booking, memberships, custom applications, complex integrations, large catalogs, paid advertising, extensive custom copywriting and ongoing management are not automatically included.

6. Customer responsibilities and delays

The customer provides accurate business information, lawful content, files, approvals, delegated access and timely feedback. Customer-caused waiting time does not count as LACASIO production time. LACASIO may remind after approximately 3 business days of missing action, pause after approximately 7 days, issue an inactivity notice after approximately 30 days and archive an inactive project after approximately 60 days. Resumption is subject to capacity and may require a revised schedule or scope review.

7. Accounts and security

Critical business accounts should remain customer-owned whenever practical, including domain, hosting, payments, business email, analytics, email marketing and booking. Customers complete identity, banking, tax and legal actions required by third parties. Do not send passwords, banking details, identity documents, 2FA/recovery codes or secret API keys through ordinary forms or email.

8. Add-ons

An add-on request is not a purchase and does not authorize work. Add-ons are reviewed for scope, compatibility, price and timing. Work begins only after written scope/price approval and required payment.

9. Managed Hosting and Care Plan

Managed Hosting and Care Plan are available within their published scope. Standalone Managed Hosting is C$899.99 CAD for 12 months. Care Plan is C$94.99/month for up to approximately 30 minutes of minor website-update work per month. The customer’s approved written scope, support boundaries, third-party costs, cancellation/refund terms and applicable law continue to apply.

10. Third-party services and affiliates

LACASIO may recommend third-party services and may receive affiliate/referral compensation where disclosed. Third parties control their own pricing, availability, terms, refunds and performance. Recommendations are not guarantees.

11. No guaranteed business results

LACASIO does not guarantee traffic, rankings, leads, sales, revenue, profitability, conversion rates, advertising results or platform approval. Foundational SEO is launch-level setup and is not a ranking guarantee.

12. Ownership

The customer retains supplied materials. After required payment, final custom deliverables created specifically for the customer are provided for the customer’s business use, subject to third-party licence restrictions. LACASIO retains pre-existing templates, systems, methods, reusable processes, know-how and internal tools.

13. Launch approval

LACASIO does not intentionally launch a customer project without documented customer approval, except where the written scope expressly provides otherwise. The customer remains responsible for factual business information supplied or approved by the customer.

14. Refunds and cancellations

Eligibility depends on project stage, work performed, non-recoverable costs and applicable law. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy. Nothing in these Terms removes rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.

15. Privacy and communications

Personal information is handled under the Privacy Policy. Transactional/project communications are separate from marketing email; becoming a customer does not automatically subscribe someone to marketing.

16. Governing law

These Terms are intended to be governed by laws applicable in Alberta, Canada, subject to mandatory consumer-protection and other laws applicable to a particular transaction.

17. Contact

Questions, cancellation requests or project concerns can be sent through the Contact page.
