Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: September 20, 2026
This policy explains how LACASIO DIGITAL handles cancellation and refund requests. Because services can involve personalized work, preparation, reserved production capacity and third-party costs, the result depends on the service, project stage, work already completed and applicable law.
1. Founding Quick Launch
Founding Client Price: C$1,349.99 CAD, available to the first 3 eligible accepted Quick Launch Core customers. Applying is free and does not create a charge, guarantee acceptance or reserve a spot.
2. Before Production Started
If a paid project is cancelled before LACASIO records Production Started, the LACASIO production/service fee is eligible for a full refund, less actual documented customer-specific third-party costs that LACASIO has already purchased, activated, reserved, licensed, registered or otherwise committed and that are non-refundable, to the extent permitted by applicable law. BUILD READY by itself does not make the production/service fee non-refundable. This section does not limit statutory cancellation or refund rights.
3. After Production Started
Once LACASIO records Production Started and substantive production work begins, the applicable production/service fee is non-refundable for cancellation, change of mind, customer inactivity or abandonment, except where applicable law or the written agreement requires otherwise. Production Started is documented in the project record. Any unused, separable amount that LACASIO has not committed may still be reviewed for refund where appropriate.
4. Completed services
Completed, substantially completed, delivered, launched, handed-off or consumed services are generally not refundable for a change of mind, subject to applicable law and any written commitment for that order. This does not remove remedies that may apply where LACASIO fails to provide the contracted service or where law otherwise requires a remedy.
5. LACASIO-caused cancellation or material failure
If LACASIO cancels an accepted project for reasons not caused by the customer, or cannot provide a material part of the paid scope, LACASIO will review the undelivered portion and provide the remedy required by the written agreement and applicable law. LACASIO-caused defects are corrections and do not consume included revision rounds.
6. Add-ons
Submitting an add-on request does not charge the customer or authorize work. An add-on becomes paid work only after written scope/price approval and required payment. If a paid add-on is cancelled, the same project-stage principles apply.
7. Managed Hosting and Care Plan
Managed Hosting and Care Plan are available within their published scope. Standalone Managed Hosting is C$899.99 CAD for 12 months and Care Plan is C$94.99/month. Customer-specific third-party costs actually committed by LACASIO may become non-refundable to the extent permitted by applicable law and the customer agreement.
8. Digital products
Digital products may have different cancellation/refund treatment after access or delivery, subject to the order terms and applicable law. If a digital product is materially defective, contact LACASIO so the issue and available remedy can be reviewed.
9. Third-party purchases
Domains, customer-purchased hosting, premium plugins, applications, subscriptions, advertising, software licences and other third-party purchases are generally governed by the provider’s terms and refund rules. When the account is customer-owned, the customer normally requests cancellation/refund directly from that provider. This does not alter any responsibility LACASIO may have for a charge expressly made by LACASIO under the customer’s written scope.
10. Customer delays and inactivity
Before Production Started, customer inactivity follows LACASIO’s reminder and archive process: a reminder after approximately 3 business days, possible pause after approximately 7 days, an inactivity notice after approximately 30 days, and archive after approximately 60 days if required information or approval remains outstanding. After Production Started, customer inactivity or a later decision that the service is no longer needed does not reopen the non-refundable production/service fee. Any unused, separable amount that LACASIO has not committed may still be reviewed where appropriate, subject to applicable law.
11. How to request a review
Use the Contact page and provide project/purchase details, purchasing email and reason for the request. Do not send passwords, banking information, identity documents, card details, 2FA codes or secret keys. LACASIO will review the project record and respond in writing.
12. Payment disputes
If a customer believes a charge is incorrect, the customer may contact LACASIO so the transaction and project records can be reviewed. Nothing in this policy limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.
13. Mandatory consumer rights
Nothing in this policy is intended to waive or reduce mandatory cancellation, refund or other consumer rights available under applicable law. Where this policy conflicts with a non-waivable legal right, applicable law controls.
Before purchasing: Review the current LACASIO Customer Service Guide, Terms of Use and order-specific written scope.
